After a long, arduous hunt, Derek Ho, Singapore's first serial killer has been captured, tried and sentenced to death. As he awaits his fate in prison, a team of top psychologists is assigned to interview him. They must find out if he has any information on a list of women reported missing during the period of his killing spree. It takes a young, ambitious member of that team, Dr Winnie Low, to break through to the stubbornly reticent Derek. Winnie embarks on a journey to solve the mystery, unlocking a secret deep within Derek's past... one that gives her an insight into how he went from an ordinary man to extraordinary killer.

The Movie Movie shows how the camera, editing techniques, make-up and sound can be used in film and video to deliberately manipulate our perceptions and emotions. Drama, action and slapstick humour are combined in a simple, family-oriented plot. There is no dialogue, but there is an explanatory song. Behind-the-scenes vignettes highlight the message that in a movie everything is not quite as it seems.

Pregnant again, Hannah is back with Tom, now working on the bins, and they are shortly to marry, with Derek giving the bride away. Derek himself spends the night in the home's caravan with girlfriend Tracey though it is unclear whether they did anything except sleep. Days before the wedding Hannah gets so annoyed with Kev that she throws him out and he is next discovered in hospital, suffering from alcohol poisoning. However, at Derek's request, she lets him back in on condition he gives up the drink and allows him to give her away at the wedding instead of Derek. Despite a bizarre speech from Kev the day goes well and some months later Hannah gives Derek her new-born baby to hold.

Derek Waters, Simon Helberg, and Bob Odenkirk created this show in 2005. There have been many different versions of it. First it was a pilot presentation, then it was made into a pilot for HBO but never aired. It went to the Sundance Film Festival,South by Southwest Film Festival,and many other film festivals its also featured on the WHOLPHIN dvd's. It's a simple show just about Derek, Simon, and their friends, and all their problems with women.
